How to Enroll

Complete the Tour Enrollment and Release Form, available upon request, along with your $95.00 registration fee (non-refundable).

Processing Enrollments

Standard processing of an enrollment takes approximately three weeks from the time CHA receives your form. CHA will send a tour account statatement to each participant following enrollment. Participants applying close to a deadline date (such as 99 days before departure) will not receive invoices prior to their payments being due and must pay all fees without written notification from CHA in order to avoid late fees.

A $35.00 processing fee will be assessed for any check returned to CHA by the participants bank for any reason. CHA does not re-deposit checks returned by the bank.

30 Days After You Enroll

Send CHA a $400 tour deposit which will be applied to the cost of your tour. This payment is due 30 days from the postmark date of your enrollment. If this deadline is missed for any reason, a $50.00 late fee will be assessed.

Avoiding Late Fees

You are responsible for making your tour payments by the deadlines. Additional invoices will not be sent to you prior to your deadlines.

To avoid late fees, payments must be postmarked (by the US Postal Service) or date marked (by overnight mail service) on or before the deadline date. If the due date falls on a Sunday or holiday, postmarks and/or date marks must still be before the deadline date. We regret that no exceptions will be made.

120 Days Before Departure

The remaining balance on your account is now due. (This includes the balance of the tour fees and any other applicable charges such as US and Foreign Airport Taxes, Weekend Surcharges, etc.)

If you are paying your balance later than the 120-day deadline, there will be a $75.00 late payment fee. All late tour payments plus the applicable late fees must be in the form of a certified check or money order and sent to CHA by overnight mail service. At 75 days prior to departure, anyone not paid in full will have their reservation canceled. Standard penatlies (see enrollment booklet) will apply.

Please understand that final travel documents will not be sent out for travelers who have not paid in full.

  • The North Carolina Renaissance Faire and the Historical Enrichment Society will be leading our third educational tour to England and Ireland in 2008. The tour will be operated in cooperation with the Cultural Heritage Alliance (CHA), the oldest educational tour operator in the US, with over three decades of experience in organizing educational tours.

Participating in an educational tour offers a variety of benefits for both young and old. Travel adds expanded views of the world and changed perspectives on yourself and your own culture. Direct exposure to a foreign culture can equal months of classroom or individual study. Participants will develop a stronger appreciation and interest in history, literature, and the arts. For young people and students, an educational tour can also, sometimes, accrue academic credit and improve changes for college admission.

The tour we've developed is an exciting 9 day itinerary covering a variety of destinations including London, Stonehenge, Westminster Abbey, Windsor Castle, Avebury, Trafalgar Square, and more! The tour includes round-trip air transportation, hotel accomodations in three- and four-star hotels, breakfast and dinner daily, in-depth sightseeing, and a full-time professional tour director who will accompany the tour from start to finish. A representative of NCRF/HES will also accompany participants on the trip.

We are pleased to invite you to travel with us! Fill out our online interest form or attend one of our tour orientation meetings at which you may receive more details and view an informational video.
